Thank you for sending me the fascinating book “The Book of Heresy - An Interpretation of the Bible”.
Throughout the ages biblical researchers have asked difficult questions and raised problems about the Bible. Yehoshua Etzion belongs to this long line. Just from my first reading - and I certainly intend to dedicate more time to this broad and multifaceted work - I learned that the author has a profound understanding of the Bible and highlights some of its contradictions. He raises doubts and interprets the biblical text in his own way. His reading of the text is both interesting and original. The author is very knowledgeable. He offers an alternative to the meanings with which we are so familiar.
